About Susie Baker

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are—even when you are not quite sure what you are feeling, what you need, or what comes next. My approach is warm, collaborative, and curious. Rather than telling you who you should be or how you should feel, I want to help you better understand yourself, recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and discover what feels meaningful and authentic to you.

Much of my clinical background has included working alongside individuals and families during some of life's most vulnerable transitions. I have particular experience with grief and loss, anticipatory grief, serious illness, caregiving, end-of-life experiences, and the identity changes that can accompany major life transitions. I also enjoy working with clients experiencing anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, and that persistent feeling of not being “enough.”

In our work together, you can expect compassion and validation alongside opportunities to gently challenge patterns that may no longer be serving you. Depending on your needs, I also believe therapy does not have to feel clinical or serious every minute. There is room for laughter, curiosity, frustration, grief, awkward moments, and celebrating the small victories that might not feel so small after all.

Ultimately, I hope our work gives you a place to feel seen and supported while developing a deeper understanding of yourself and greater confidence in how you want to move through your life.
