Faith-Based Counseling
What Faith-Based Counseling Looks Like
Our approach to faith-based counseling is not a separate or specialized type of counseling. All of our clinicians are trained, licensed mental health professionals who provide evidence-based therapy. For clients who desire it, we incorporate faith as a foundation and lens through which we explore your experiences, struggles, and goals.
Faith-based counseling may include:
Exploring how spiritual beliefs influence thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
Integrating prayer, Scripture, or Christian values when it feels supportive to you.
Using both clinical tools (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and relational approaches) and faith-based encouragement.
Creating space for your faith to be a source of strength and resilience.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
- Jeremiah 29:11
